DECEMBER

As the days get shorter leading up to winter solstice, our team is taking an opportunity to reflect on the year, and set intentions for 2026. December 21st, or winter solstice, marks the shortest day and longest night of the year. After this date, daylight hours will slowly start to increase, bringing us renewed energy to invest into projects and planning. We are reflecting on successes of 2025, including an increased interest and investment into school food programs, successful webinars and trainings that have inspired food security actions, and the start of new projects to better support food security policies.

Our office will close from December 20th - January 4th, and we look forward to reconnecting with all of you in the New Year!
