April
As April draws to a close, it feels as though many of us are holding a lot at once.
From global and geopolitical uncertainty to the realities facing communities closer to home, there is no shortage of information to take in, and no shortage of challenges shaping the broader food landscape. At the same time, we continue to see beautiful examples of care, collaboration, and action unfolding across the province and all of Turtle Island; in innovative community-led initiatives, budding partnerships, and in the everyday work of people committed to strengthening food systems.
In this month’s newsletter, there’s oodles of opportunity for connection and engagement. Below, you’ll find plenty of upcoming gatherings and conferences to add to the calendar alongside ways to take action on issues relevant food - from sharing your knowledge and perspectives on Indigenous Food Systems to showing up in support of migrant workers.
We’re also thrilled to share the launch of the CFM in Action campaign so that we can highlight and celebrate the work of Community Food Mentors across New Brunswick.
As always, Food For All NB remains committed to keeping the pulse on New Brunswick’s food movement, identifying emerging issues, and sharing solutions for change. In a moment where we have so much on our plates, staying connected - to each other, to the work, and to what’s possible - is more important than ever. |
